The IS380.1 preserves the classic two-way radio form factor, allowing users to continue working with familiar controls and workflows without any adjustment. With the right applications and network setup, it supports Push-to-Talk over Cellular as well as Mission Critical Push-to-Talk, alongside regular voice communication. The device features a prominent side PTT key, a rotary control for channel switching or volume adjustment, a front-mounted high-volume speaker, a 13-pin ISM audio connector, and a removable battery. The i.safe MOBILE App World is pre-installed for immediate access to applications.
