Mobile devices designed for communication in hazardous areas must absolutely comply with Ex standards. This means that they should provide maximum safety during use, eliminating the risk of such hazards as a sudden rise in battery temperature or the formation of a spark inside the case.
Cell phones, smartphones, tablets and multifunctional devices available from CORONA Group are certified in accordance with the ATEX Directive. They are also approved for Zone 1 for gases and Zone 21 for dust. This means that they can be safely used in areas where there is a risk of explosion during normal operation. In addition, all devices have their counterparts designed to work in gas zone 2 and dust zone 22. This includes the IS530.1 smartphone and the IS120.1 phone.
Smartphone IS530.1 – effective and robust
This professional industrial smartphone offers versatile use. Equipped with Android 13, it enables contactless operation and is compatible with mobile device management (MDM) systems. The SOS button, combined with dedicated software, ensures quick response, providing vital support for both personnel working in hazardous areas and emergency services.
In addition, the model has a Dual-micro SIM, accelerometer, gyroscope or flashlight. In addition, a light sensor, compass and pressure sensors, which are very useful in everyday work.
Like most models from this manufacturer, the IS530.1 can also be equipped with additional modules. These include the RSM (receiving module), PTT headsets, the IS-TH1xx.1 professional barcode scanner or the IS-TC1A.1 thermal imaging camera.
IS120.1 phone – efficiency in a compact form
This model is an ideal choice for those who prefer traditional and functional phones. Equipped with a classic keyboard, it is characterized by high efficiency and exceptional durability. Its compact form makes it easy to use, and its main functions include making calls and sending SMS messages. The phone has a long-life lithium-ion battery, which means less frequent charging. It runs on its own operating system and is certified for dust and water resistance. In addition, the phone performs well in extreme temperatures from -20 °C to 60 °C.
